Bradford Cathedral it is such a beautiful & peaceful place for me & my family. It holds very special memories for us. My daughter comes to sing in the choir here. It wasn't actually open to the general public on this particular morning, but I believe it generally is & you can all the information you need on their website.
Lovely Cathedral in its own grounds. I liked the tapestries, the orange roses flower display and the women's stained glass window full of pinks and purples
A smaller than usual building compared to many cathedrals. Old yet neat and tidy. Appears well maintained. Staff are excellent. Free entry to look around donations are encouraged. During the visit there was an organ recital preceeded by a light lunch at minimal cost. Excellent day out. Finding parking was an issue but Captains Road had a carpark, and on road parking for up to 4 hours.
Well worth a visit. The old and new complement each other. Wonderful wood/ stone/ glass work.sit down and take it in.
Candlelight: a tribute to Queen. Beautiful sounds, wonderful atmosphere in the Cathedral. Familiar music played in a way that was so mesmerising I found it quite emotional. I have never been to anything like this before but Im so glad I went. The string quartet were amazing! Thank you Candlelight, please come again.
Still glorious as it was many centuries ago.
The environment is serene, the ambience is matchless and it isgood to see both young and old faithfuls still come in to express their faith.
What a wonderful building, Choir, Musicians and all staff a fabulous Carol Concert which was amazing as it always is every year, the Cathederal was packed to the rafters.
Bradford cathedral is a beautiful place. Free recitals on Wednesdays but check dates. Also a buffet lunch for £4.00 with tea or coffee. The cathedral has many exhibitions and events check out on google
Amazing venue. Queen isn’t the easiest group to ‘impersonate’ as their songs are anthems. This concert was wonderful, the musicians absolutely perfect
Well worth a visit, as I'm a devout and committed atheist, nothing untoward occured, I really appreciate Cathedrals, imagine what it must have taken to build them.
